Volunteers
The Northeast Ministry is a great opportunity for volunteerism. Whether you are a parent, student, a representative of a corporation, or just some one who wants to help, we have a variety of programs and events that invite you to do something meaningful.
Our programs are augmented by mentors, tutors, and student volunteers from Lehigh University, Northampton Community College and Moravian College.
Contributions
As a non-profit organization, the success of the Northeast Ministry is completely dependent on community support and contributions from businesses, churches, and individuals. Certain programs also receive a small portion of funds from state and federal grants.
Donations of equipment and supplies, such as computers, software, and educational tools, help make our programs more effective. Community sponsors also enable us to offer incentives for the children who excel in their academic programs or who compete in competitions such as essay writing.
